The rules for using kiddoer.com and the Kiddoer Arcade.
Agreement
By using kiddoer.com you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, read them with a parent or guardian. Kiddoer is operated by Verve Group Inc.
Using the site
The Arcade is free to play, needs no account, and you may share links to it freely.
Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not use it to distribute anything unlawful or harmful to other children.
Student work
A student keeps ownership of the game they made. Nothing here transfers copyright to us.
By submitting a game with an adult's agreement, you give us permission to publish it in the Arcade, show the maker's first name and age alongside it, and promote it as an example of student work. That permission can be withdrawn at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the game.
Submissions
We review everything before it is published and we may decline a submission without giving a reason. Do not submit work that is not yours, or that contains content unsuitable for children.
Games and links from other places
Some games and links point at services we do not operate. We check what we publish, but we are not responsible for other people's sites, and their terms and privacy policies apply when you are on them.
Courses
This site describes the Kiddoer programme. Enrolling in a cohort is a separate arrangement, agreed in writing at the time, and these terms do not govern it.
No warranty, and limits
The site and the games are provided as they are. We do not promise they will always be available or free of faults, and browser games in particular depend on your device and connection.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute arising from them will be dealt with by the Ontario courts. If you use the site from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your own local law.
Where the consumer-protection law of your own country gives you rights that cannot be contracted out of, this clause does not take them away.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
